Education:
Volgograd State Technical University — Faculty of Electronics & Computer Engineering, BSc in Computer Science.
Additional qualification: Mobile App Development in Java — Samsung IT Academy.
Background:
Vlad wrote his first lines of code in middle school and never really stopped. Starting with HTML and CSS, moving on to Python, and eventually joining Samsung's IT Academy mobile development programme — before university was even finished, he'd already competed in a nationwide hackathon and brought home 2nd place with his team.
Today he builds native iOS apps, explores machine learning and neural networks, and stays sharp through competitive programming. Everything he learns finds its way into the classroom sooner or later.
Personal side:
Vlad is a serious photographer and videographer with a genuine eye for composition — the kind of person who thinks in images as naturally as he thinks in code. That creative instinct changes the way he explains things: no drowning kids in abstract theory, just clear visuals and real-world connections that actually land.
When he's not coding or behind a camera, he reads sci-fi — the kind that stretches your imagination and makes you think differently about what's coming next.
Kids in his classes tend to forget they're learning. And that's exactly the point.
"The moment I live for as a teacher is hard to describe — it's the look on a kid's face when something they built from scratch actually works for the first time. That moment of 'wait, I did that?' is why I do this.".
